Question by anjlbeing: Any ideas on a cheap vacation to Panama City Beach?
I would like to stay at a hotel on the beach, but it is not necessary. I know I will save money on a hotel not on the beach. What are some money saving tips for a vacation in Panama City Beach? It will either be just me or maybe one more person. I am having beach withdrawals. LOL
I know rates are more expensive during peak season. When is a good time to go while the weather and water is still warm?

go in May, before Memorial Day. The weather and water are both great then, and you’ll still get cheaper rates on a condo/hotel. Try looking into a condo instead, you might find more options. You can search for some through http://www.vrbo.com. And do stay on the beach. Yes it costs more, but it’s worth it for the beautiful views

Well we always stay at The Watercrest.. it’s a condo right on the beach. Can’t say that it’s cheap, but why go to gorgeous PCB and not be able to wake up in the morning and run to the balcony and see the ocean!! Oh my gosh it’s heaven! Yeah it will definitely be more expensive during the summer, we went in October and the prices were so good that we could have stayed for an entire month for the price of one week during the summer! Crazy! But it was still warm then =)
