Where can I get really cheap airplane tickets?

I am getting married in August 2009. I live in New York. My best friend lives in Hawaii at the moment. Is there any way I can get really cheap plane tickets to fly her home for the wedding and then back to Hawaii?? The cheapest tickets I’ve found online are around $800 or $900. I can’t afford to pay that much when I’m already planning a wedding and she doesn’t have that kind of money because she has two children and another on the way. Help please!!

Sorry, that is the cheapest it gets. The cheapest for round-trip is $900 from EWR to HNL.
yeah, that sounds like the right price. i would consider looking a little closer to the departure in two months or so (but there’s no gaurantee it’ll go down)
i would suggest booking directly with the airline becuase even tho online prices look like less, they add on extra booking fees- the best prices to get are always with the airline directly
