Sometimes if you check with the airline last minute they will sell you a ticket a little cheaper because they want to sell the seat.

I use YTB travel to find cheap air fare. Also, the earlier you book your flight, the better. It is also cheaper to travel during the week day like a Tuesday or Wednesday.
